On Saturday July 16 the PXC Sharks hosted a Celebrity Bartending Fundraising Event at Hammerheads Sports Pub. It was a great night and LOTS of fun was had by everyone who attended! Thanks to many great supporters we raffled off several baskets and had many happy guests leave with amazing prices of all kinds! The money raised went towards to cost of new mats for the girls for their upcoming season and it was a GREAT help in reaching our goal!
Starting the very first weekend in July the cheerleaders took the streets and worked hard every weekend throughout July and early August to wash cars to raise money for necessary supplies and equipment for their upcoming season with their BRAND NEW organization! The girls came out in the hot sun and washed cars every weekend both Saturday AND Sunday from noon-4pm proving their commitment and dedication to their team and how badly they want to succeed and earn the most necessary supplies for their season. Hard work truly does pay off and these girls proved that in great lengths!!
On Saturday August 20 the PXC Sharks hosted a Pancake Breakfast Fundraising Event at Applebee's located at 2535-37 Castor ave. It was a fabulous morning filled with LOTS of supportive yet hungry sharks and their families! We had a very lucky 50/50 winner and had a morning filled with lots of hard work and smiles! The girls themselves prepped and served their customers and volunteered their time to work serving their friends and families breakfast to raise money for uniforms for their upcoming competition season. It was a very successful fundraising event and we look forward to the future events and fundraisers approaching this fall!
